Lyrics - Dice Have Never Rolled Eyes of Blue
Written by Matt Moran on September 8, 2008 – 5:48 am -Many many years ago I wrote the line:
Dice have never rolled eyes lf blue but Lady Love can, I’ll bet my three to your two.
This was the start to my song Lady Love. Recently, a performer in Seattle heard it on Myspace and asked if he could add it to his set - with attribution. Here I am performing it at the Chicago House concert.
I swear I was not jacked up on coffee - but I play it a bit fast - I guess a little caught up in the "energy of the moment."

Yep - I’m back at C4 to play some music - originals and covers so obscure you’ll think they are originals.
Look for more information soon - because I will be back at C4 later this month, in The Camp (their outdoor stage) opening for Lucas Cates on September 27th.
Our plan is to do a live webcast of the Lucas Cates show on UStream.

I’ll Make You Feel - original song from a house concert
Written by Matt Moran on August 14, 2008 – 9:47 am -I’ll Make You Feel is a song I wrote with the idea of James Taylor’s Handyman in mind.
Handyman is about a guy who is by all accounts, a schmuck.
He tells women to send all their friends to him and he will fix their broken hearts. Really, we know, he will sleep with them. He’s saying, I’ll sleep with you and all your friends.
"He is the main thing I want to say… I’m busy 24 hours a day" - really….
The song is universally thought of as romantic. I wanted to write a song about the same guy.
I take awhile to intro the song and you get to hear the sound of kids running around the yard. Just a part of the outdoor house concert experience…

Dog!!! Genius!
